3 women drug peddlers convicted with 4 months jail

Mobile court of district administration led by Executive Magistrate Shahdat Hossain in a verdicted convicted three women drug peddlers with 4 months jail for conducting business of intoxicated drugs in the city.
The convicted women are Parveen(32), Salma(19) and Nasima Akhter (20). Police sources said these women were rounded up from a house of Isakarpool area under Bakalia thana on Sunday afternoon.
Acting on secret information, Bakalia thana police conducted raid in the area and managed to round up these accused from a building alongwith ganza. Mentionable that mobile court convicted about 44 drug peddlers with different t erms in last one and half month, sources said.
