1st merit list for College admission published

A total of 13,18,866 students have been selected in the first merit list for the admission into Class-XI under the 2019-2020 academic session.
The list was uploaded on the website early Monday, said Professor Ziaul Haque, Chairman of Dhaka Education Board.
The list is available on the Education Ministry
website: www.xiclassadmission.gov.bd. Professor Ziaul Haque said, the students who failed the first merit list they must apply again. They will be included in the second merit list if everything is okay, he said.
A total of 14,15,876 students have applied for the admission to different public and private colleges in the first phase.
The qualified students will have to confirm their acceptance through texts to the selected colleges by June 18. They have been instructed to admit to the colleges between June 27 and July 30. Besides, those who failed to get enrolled in any college can apply for admission to 10 colleges on July 19-20 and on June 24.
The second merit list will be published on June 21 while the third one on June 25.
Over 1.7 million students have passed the SSC and equivalent exams. The students were allowed to apply to a minimum of five colleges and a maximum of 10. The aspirants are being placed in a college on the basis of their merit and choice of colleges.
