CDA chairman assures all-out coop for implementing Kalurghat-Boalkhali bridge over Karnaphuli river

Chairman of Chittagong Development Authority (CDA) Abdus Salam assured all-out necessary cooperation for quick implementation of the proposed Boalkhali-Kalurghat bridge over river Karnaphuli.
 This was disclosed at the views exchanging meeting with CDA chairman by Boalkhali-Khalurghat Bridge Implementation Parishad on Wednesday at CDA conference hall.
CDA chairman in his brief deliverations said the thousands of people of Boalkhali upazila and east Patiya are passing miserable life since long lack of one road bridge between Khalurghat and Boalkhali and said present govt is a development friendly govt and development work of millions of taka is being implemented in Chittagong with the cordial efforts of the Prime Minister.
 The construction of tunnel is under process over Karnaphuli river.
He further said this demand of Boalkhali Bridge is a d emand of the age and it needs immediate implementation.
He said this proposed will be built during the present tenure of the govt.
A memorandum is also handed over to CDA chairman by the leaders of the Implementation Parishad.
On behalf of Bridge Implementation Parishad Convenor Md.Abdul Momin, Joint convenor Mustafa Naim, Member secretary Ramen Dasgupta, senior member Abdul Mannan, Sirajul Hoque Badsha, Joint Secretary Alamgir Morshed Babu, members Ranjit Kumar Ghosh, Salahuddin, Abul Alamgir, Adv Kazi M. Iqbal, adovocate Shamsuddin Chowdhury, were present on the occasion among others.
