Students achieving degrees sans proper skill : Dipu Moni

Education Minister Dipu Moni on Tuesday said, the students are getting degrees but lack of skills so that the government is now working to develop both quality and skills.
She remarked it as the chief guest at a function organized by higher degree of quality development accreditation council on Monday.
Chairman of the accreditation council Professor Misbah Uddin chaired the session, while Deputy Education Minister Mohibul Hasan Chowdhury was presentas the special guest. Dipu Moni said, our students lack communication skills. We want to develop their communication skills. For doing that she hopes everyone will support the accreditation council.
The Mohibul Hasan Chowdhury said, the accreditation council will play a very important role to develop educational quality and students skill quality.
He expressed his anger as there was no representative present from public universities.
He also said the impact of government fund allocation for education is visible now. It is very much important to increase the quality of education for the development of the country.
Vice-Chancellors of different universities were present at the function.
