Kareena to start shooting for Angrezi Medium from mid-May
Angrezi Medium could easily be one of the most exciting projectz that we all are looking forward to and there are meany reasons for it. Apart from it being a sequel to the hit comedy, Hindi Medium, the film brings back Irrfan Khan to the big screen after his long battle with cancer. Another reason for the excitement is Kareena Kapoor Khan who will be seen playing a cop for the first time in the film. The film also stars Radhika Madan who played Irrfan’s daughter.
While the cast and crew have been shooting for the first schedule in Udaipur, the second schedule will start in Mumbai on May 15 and Kareena will be joining the cast there on. The second schedule will go on for a week before they fly down to London to shoot a major chunk of the film. A source close to Kareena talking about how she is preparing and said, “Kareena has started prep for Angrezi Medium. Since she’s playing a cop for the first time, she’s been discussing her character with director Homi Adajania. She will shoot in Mumbai for around a week before the team flies to London in June where a big chunk will be shot. She is not romantically paired with Irrfan but has an important role in the narrative.”
This is the first time Kareena and Irrfan will be sharing the screen space and it sure will be fun to see these actors come together and create magic on screen.
