Yellow, Beximco, Shanto-Mariam University arrange Fashion Fest

Yellow, Beximco and Shanto-Mariam University of Creative Technology (SMUCT) organised a colourful ‘Fashion Fest 2019’ on the university campus in the capitals’ Uttara area recently.
Vice Chairman of SMUCT Dr Md Ahsanul Kabir, Vice-chancellor of the university Prof Dr Quazi Md Mafizur Rahman, Executive Director of Yellow, Shehryar Burney were present as guests at the event.
The event was divided into three segments, such as seminar on fashion, creative design exhibition and fashion show. In the fashion seminar, Andreu Milans and Juliana Gomez Van Strahlen, fashion designers at Beximco Barcelona Design Studio, discussed about how to create a personalised collection for an international buyer. Vineet Raghuvanshi, head of design at Yellow, talked about fashion careers and how to choose the best career path locally and globally.
For creative design exhibition, 15 highly talented students displayed their creative designs and three top winners were rewarded. Yellow selected 25 models for ‘Yellow Fashion Show’ out of 100 applicants. These student models wore Yellow’s latest Boishakh Collection/2019 and Spring Collection/2019.
