Gulshan Youth Club marks Int’l Mother Language Day

Gulshan Youth Club marked the International Mother Language Day on February 21 with various programmes. President of the Club Humayun Kabir, joint general secretary Adv Bahrin Khan and Shariful Islam Bhorosha, EC members of the club jointly inaugurated the day-long event in the morning. Then they paid tribute to the language martyrs on the wreath of Shahid Minar which was set up on the club premises.
In the second part, including cultural programme colourful alphabet and Bangla dictation competition took place at the Club. Child artistes of the club and musical troupe, Pran-er Dol performed in the cultural function. Like previous years the event became lively with the participation of local residents of Gulshan area. n
