POEM: New Year ushering a new era
New Year!
Come to usher us to an era of peace and reconciliation
We don’t love to live in annihilation
Come! Mingle us with you
We’re eagerly waiting for you.
We hope to see you threading over the superstitions
We like to get you active in all actions
You’re celebrated by every caste and creed
You’ve a charismatic power indeed
We’re enthralled with your presence
You’re not a cause of making nuisance.
You remove weariness; fuel ourselves with loveliness
You’re the holder of culture and tradition
Let the message of goodness be your mission.
We find laughter in everybody else
Your luster spreads o’er earth and everyplace
We’re enchanted with the advent of you
We’re thrilled not to vanish you.
We, human beings are passing hard time
Come to us being sublime
Uproot all evil forces
Take stern actions being ruthless.
Fraternity and sympathy have become alien to our nature
We act like miniature creature;
Come, rectify us; show the right track-
Perfect you’re.
