3 held with phensidyl, yaba in Rangamati

UNB, Rangamati :
Police arrested three drug peddlers, including a couple, along with 400 bottles of Indian Phensidyl syrup and 24 pieces of yaba tablet from different areas in the district town early Saturday.
Identities of the arrestees could not be known immediately.
Manu Imtiaz Sohel, officer-in-charge of Kotwali Police Station, said on secret information, a team of police conducted a drive in Banarupa Forest Colony area of the district town in the dead of night and arrested a couple.
Police also recovered 400 bottles of Indian Phensidyl syrup in two sacks from a room of the colony.
In another drive, police arrested a young man in possession of 24 pieces of Yaba tablet from New Bus Terminal of the district town at the same time.
A case was filed in this connection.
