Bangladesh likely to eradicate poverty by 2030: Muhith

 The growth of our GDP is now very prospective and Bangladesh is likely to eradicate the poverty by 2030.
Finance Minister Abul Maal Abdul Muhith yesterday said it on a conference titled ”Finance for Sustainable Development Growth and Development” organised by Finance Department at Chittagong University while addressing as Chief Guest.
He urged the people to give special importance in sustainable growth and development under the leadership of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina and also emphasised on improving the standard of higher education and research which lead to financial emancipation in business arena providing realistic planning, organization ,direction ,controlling of leadership, preplanned use of resources, reduction of expenditure ,ensuring transparency and accountability and so on.
CU Vice-Chancellor Pro Dr Iftekhar Uddin Chowdhury inaugurated the conference and Governor of Bangladesh Bank Fazle Kabir, Secretary of Ministry of Finance Mohammad Muslim Chowdhury and Pro- Vice-Chancellor Dr Shirin Akter also addressed the Conference as a special guest while current Chairman of Chittagong University finance department was in the Chair .
Addressing as Special guest Fazle Kabir , Governor of Bangladesh Bank , said “development should be for human being . In competitive world, the young graduates should devote them to acquire knowledge by which they themselves involve in prospering of the country.
