CUET annual sports competition, 18 ends

The annual sports competition-2018 of Chittagong University of Engineering & Technology ended yesterday .
The main attraction of the sports was Md. Toffazal Hoque who clinch fast running man and the fast running female student Ishmad Esha.
Vice Chancellor of CUET Prof.Dr. Rafiqul Alam formally inaugurated the dayloung sports event at university central play ground yesterday at 10 am as chief guest through releasing balloons and pigeons. Director of Students Welfare Prof Md. Moshul Hoque presided over the inaural session of the sports.
On the beginning of the sports, one minute silence was observed by the athletes and viewers to pay respect to the victims of Nepal air crash and observed the state condolence day by wearing black batch. Special prayers offered to the salavation of the departed souls of air crash victims and hoist the national flag half mast.
On beginning of the event, vice chancellor hoisted national flag and the Registrar hoists CUET flag , sources said. Lecturer Nahida Sultana of Arts Department and Asstt.Registrar (Coord) Fazlur Rahman conducted the whole events.
