Dr Mazharul Hoque School emerges unbeaten champion in School Chess

Shershah Colony Dr Mazharul Hoque School King emerged unbeaten champion in the CJKS-Kwality Ice Cream Inter School’s Team Chess tournament that concluded on Thursday at MA Aziz Stadium gymnasium in Chittagong.
Shershah Colony Dr Mazharul Hoque School King earned nine match points and 17.5 game points to clinch the title.
Presidency International School & College A became runners-up with nine match points and 16.5 game points while Bangladesh Mohila Samity Girls’ School A finished third with nine match points and 16 game points.
In the fifth and last round matches, Shershah Colony Dr Mazharul Hoque School King beat Cantonment English School & College Rook by 3.5- 0.5 game points, Presidency International School & College A split point with Bangladesh Mohila Samity Girl’s School A by 2-2 game points, Bon Gobeshonagar
High School beat Shershah Colony Dr. Mazharul Hoque School Queen by 3-1 game points, Placid’s School & College King beat Khaja Ajmeri High School by3-1 game points, St Placids School & College Rook beat Sanowara Islam Boys High School Green by 3-1 game points, Polo Ground Bahumukhi High School beat St. Placids School & College Queen by 3-1 game points and Bidyut Unnoyan Board School beat Aparnacharan City Corporation Girls High School & College A by 3-1 game points.
