ADB President due tonight
UNB, Dhaka :
President of the Asian Development Bank Takehiko Nakao will arrive in Dhaka on Saturday night on a two-day visit, his first trip to Bangladesh after taking office in 2013.
The ADB president is scheduled to hold his first meeting with Finance Minister AMA Muhith on Sunday morning at his secretariat office.
From there he will go to the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) to meet Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.
His discussions with Bang-ladesh leaders will figure how best the ADB could support Bangladesh’s development goals, an official at the Finance Ministry told UNB.
The ADB President will visit some ADB-assisted projects in Bangladesh.
