BSPA Sports Carnival concludes

The Bangladesh Sports Press Association (BSPA) Sports Carnival concluded on Thursday at Shaheed Captain M Mansur Ali Handball Stadium, said a BSPA press release.
Sate Minister for Youth and Sports Dr. Biren Sikder MP was the chief guest in the closing ceremony of the program and distributed the trophy and cash prizes.
BSPA president Mostafa Mamun presided over the closing ceremony.
In the badminton singles event, Musaho Mukul emerged champions and Shamim Hasan finished runner-up while the badminton doubles event Musaho Mukul and Shamim Hasan pair emerged champion while Kobirul Islam and Arafat Daria finished runners-up.
In the table tennis singles event, Rumel Khan emerged champion and Mahmudunnobi finished runner-up while in the doubles event Rumel Khan and Mahmudunnobi Chanchal emerged champions while Sudipta Ahmed and M Jubayer finished runners-up.
In the carom singles event, Arif Sohel emerged champion and Sanath Baba finished runner-up while in the doubles event SB Chowdhury Shishir and Mojibur Rahman emerged champions while Masud Alam and Rafiqul Islam finished runners-up.
In archery event, Alok Hasan emerged champion while Mahmudunnobi finished runners-up. In the chess event Ashrafur Rahman Murad emerged champion while Arif Sohel finished runner-up. Meanwhile Mahmudunnobi was named the sportsman of BSPA.
