Bangladesh will take on Sri Lanka in their final Group B match of the AFC Under-19 Championship Qualifiers scheduled to be held today (Wednesday) at the Hisor Central Stadium in Dushanbe, Tajikistan.
The match kicks off at 3 pm (BST).
Earlier, a stoppage time own goal broke Bangladesh fans’ heart as a solitary goal defeat against group favourites Uzbekistan on Monday.
This last gasp defeat blew away chances of qualifying for the final round, now they have to wait how they perform in the remaining matches and what other group runners-up accumulate points in their kitty.
Bangladesh so far had an impressive start in the tournament with a commanding goalless draw with host Tajikistan and a lone goal victory over the Maldives in their group phase engagement.
The ten group champion teams along with the five best runners-up of the 10 Asian groups will qualify in the final round of the tournament.
