Barisal follow on and 80 for 1 on day 3 in NCL

Barisal Division suffered further batting debacle as they were bowled out for 296 in their first innings and were asked to follow on against Khulna Division on the third day of the tier-1 four-day match of Walton Smart Fridge 19th National Cricket League held on Sunday at Shaheed Kamruzzaman Stadium in Rajshahi.
However they made a little steady start as they scored 80 for I in their second innings when the stumps were drawn for the day three, still trailing by 135 runs behind with nine second innings wickets in hand.
Earlier Barisal were bowled out for 296 in their first innings ,Salman 52, Moin Khan 61,
Sohag Gazi with 65, Shamsul Islam 30,Fazle Rabbi and Monir Hossain with 27 were the notable Barisal batsmen.
Al Amin Hossain with 2 for 73, Robiul Islam 2 for 43, Nahidul Islam with 3 for 55, Abdur Razzak with 3 for 89 were Khulna bowlers who all shared Barisal’s spoils.
Earlier, Khulna Division resumed their first innings on the second day (Saturday) with overnight score at 307 for 4 and finally declared their innings at 511 for 8 courtesy of a magnificent knock of 152 by overnight batsman Ziaur Rahman.
