Mini School Handball tournament begins

Five boys’ division matches of the Mini School Handball tournament were decided on the opening day (Tuesday) at Shaheed Captain M Mansur Ali Handball Stadium.
In the day’s opening boys’ division matches, Sunnydale, St Gregory’s High School, Model School & College, Motijheel Government High School and HEED International School won their matches after beating respective rivals.
In the girls’ division matches, , BAF Shaheen School & College , Shaheed Police Smrity College, HEED International School, Scholastica (Uttara), Green Herald International School and Motijheel Government Girls’ High School won their matches after beating their respective rivals.
Earlier, State Minister for Youth and Sports Dr Biren Sikder formally inaugurated the meet as the chief guest while Pran RFL head of event Adil Khan was present as special guest.

Cycling to be held on Friday

The Inter-School Cycling Competition will be held at the square of Bangabandhu National Stadium on Friday. The cyclists will take part in the six events.
Bangladesh Cycling Federation will organize the cycling meet.
After the competition, State Minister for Youth and Sports Dr Biren Sikder will distribute the prizes among the winners as the chief guest. President of Bangladesh Cycling Federation Mizanur Rahman Manu, General Secretary of the Federation Parvez Hasan will be present with him at the time.
