Trade thru’ Benapole remains suspended

UNB, Benapole :
Export and import activities between Bangladesh and India through Benapole land port will remain suspended for two days from May 12 (Monday) on the occasion of elections to different municipalities in West Bengal and Buddha Purnima.
Kartik Chakrabarti, general secretary of Petrapole Port Customs Clearing and Forwarding Agents Staff Welfare Association, trading through the port will remain halted for elections to different municipalities in West Bengal on Monday and a public holiday in India on the occasion of Buddha Purnima on Tuesday.
