China keen to invest in Ctg : Envoy
A view exchange meeting with Chinese diplomat including Chinese Ambassador in Bangladesh Ma Mingqiang with CCC Mayor AJM Nasir Uddin was held at CCC Conference Room on Monday.

China is keen to invest in Chittagong specifically in power plant, disaster management and garments sector .
Chinese Ambassador in Bangladesh Mr Ma Mingqiang disclosed it while exchanging views with the city Mayor AJM Nasir Uddin at latter’s conference room on Monday.
City Mayor in his deliberations stressed the investment in water logging crisis, waste removing management, LED connections, city beautifications, tourism sector and RMG . He urges the assistance of China in these sectors .
City Mayor thanked the visiting diplomat for his first ever visit in the port city and City corporation office. Chinese diplomat assures their cooperation in different prospective sectors in Chittagong and said there are enough scope for investment in this zone. Chinese diplomat praises the role of city mayor for overall development of the port city . Among others, Chief executive officer of CCC Md. Abul Hossain, Chief education officer Nazia shirin, personal secretary of Mayor Manzurul Islam, Executive Magistrate Jutika Sarkar and officials of Chinese embassy in Bangladesh were present on the occasion, a CCC sources said.
