Construction work of Bay Terminal to begin next year

 The first phase work of the Bay Terminal of Chittagong Port is expected to begin from next year . This was disclosed by the Chairman of Chittagong Port Rear Admiral M Khaled Iqbal while exchanging views with the Chittagong chamber President Mabubul Alam at afunction held in Berth No.1 of CP on Thursday.Port chairman told that the reports of the feasibility study of the terminal will be received by May next and after that architectural plan will be ready on the basis of feasibility study.
The CPA chairman further told that it will take time about six month for detailed design of the terminal and accordingly work will start. Sources said Asian Development€Bank will finance US dollars 20 crores for the project.
