Bangladesh Army will face Bangladesh Navy in the final of the Marcel Victory Day Hockey Competition at the Moulana Bhashani National Hockey Stadium tomorrow. The match starts at 2.45 pm.
Bangladesh Army moved to the final defeating Bangladesh Air Force by seven goals to nil in the first semi-final at the same venue on Saturday.
Khorshedur Rahman of Bangladesh Army scored three goals and his teammate Md Milon Hossain netted two goals and their colleagues Hasan Jubaer Niloy, Abdul Malek successfully struck one time each on the board.
Bangladesh Navy reached the final beating BKSP by 5-2 goals in the second semi-final at the same venue on the same day.
Russell Mahmud Jimmy of Bangladesh Navy scored two goals and their colleagues Romman Sarkar, Mainul Islam, Krishna Kumar Das successfully struck one time each on the board.
On the other hand, Sohanur Rahman, Rajib Das of BKSP scored one goal each.
Tomorrow State Minister for Foreign Affairs Shahrirar Alam will distribute the prizes among the winners as the chief guest after the final match. Member of the Parliamentary Standing Committee on the Ministry of Jute and Textile Fahmi Golondaj Babel will be with him as the special guest.
