Tk530 cr CCC projects approved : Mayor

Chittagong City Mayor AJM Nasir Uddin said, LGRD Ministry has recently approved two projects of Chittagong City Corporation amounting Tk.53f0 crores in two phases .
 He said these approved projects will be placed before the meeting of ECNEC very shortly for final approval . City Mayor disclosed it while addressing the meeting of Infrastructure Development , water, power and communications standing committee of CCC held at Nagar Bhaban on Sunday .
 He said after approval of these projects in next ECNEC meeting, the city development will be accelerated further. Besides, another development project of Tk.200 cr as proposed by the concerned minister and local legislator also in the pipeline, he added. City mayor also said ADP, JAICA and other donor countries also expressed to fund the city de velopment projects including establishment of income generating projects and canal digging .
 City mayor hailed the city dwellers for extending cooperations to keep the city clean and pollution free by the new device of door to door garbage removing projects. He said dustbins are being supplied to each family in city free of cost for keeping the wastes in particular place .
