



Leaders of the 14-party alliance in the port city Chittagong on Monday renewed their pledge to resist militancy with all strength for protecting the sovereignty of the country.
The leaders said this while addressing an anti-militancy rally at city’s Shahid Minar premise in city in the afternoon to protest the attacks at Gulshan and Sholakia.
Organised by the 14-party alliance, Chittagong, the rally was presided over by former mayor and Chittagong city Awami League (AL) President ABM Mohiuddin Chowdhury.
Wasika Ayesha Khanom, MP, President of Chittagong north district AL Nurul Alam Chowdhury, President of Chittagong North District AL Muslem Uddin Ahmed, General Secretary Mofizur Rahman, Senior Vice-president of City AL Mahtab Uddin Chowdhury, AL leaders- Advocate Ibrahim Hossain Babul, Khorshed Alam Sujon, Advocate Iftekhar Saimul Chowdhury and Jatiyatbadi Samajtantrik Dal (JSD) leader Indu Nandan Dutta, among others, spoke on the occasion.
