Call for more importance to homeopathy

In observance of the Homeopathy Day, a reception function as arranged by the Bangladesh Homeopathic Medical Association (BHMA), Lohagara Unit was held at Lohagara Battali Merchant Welfare Cooperative society office premises on Saturday with Lohagra Upazila Unit President Dr. Mohammad Abedur Rahman in the chair. Principal advisor of the BHMA Chittagong Unit and former member of Bangladesh Homeopathy Board Principal Dr. Abdul Karim graced the occasion as chief guest . President of Chittagong district unit Adv Dr. Md. Samiuddin was the principal speaker in it.
President of BHMA Coxsbazar unit Dr. Md. Abu Sayeed, general secretary of Ctg district unit Dr. Md. Shamsuddin, Principal of Coxsbazar Homeopathic Medical College & Hospital Dr. Md. Samidul Hoque, advisor of BHMA Lohagara unit Dr. Sadhan Mitra, Member Secretary of Homeopathy Rights Protection Committee Dr. Md. Ismail chowdhury,Dr. Dilip Kumar Dey, General secretary of Chokoria Upazila unit Dr. Abdul Mabud Siddiqui graced the occasion as special guests. Among others, Dr. SK Deb Sajal, Dr. Alauddin Bhuyia, Dr. Kaberi Das, General secretary of Satkania BHMA unit Dr. Md. Younus, Dr. Sirajul Islam chowdhury, Dr. Sayeed Md. Mohiuddin, Dr. Sadhan Mitra, Prof. Dr. Jalal Ahmed, Dr. Omar Faruk, Dr. Mrs.Swapna Devi, Dr. Arun Pal also spoke on the occasion. In the function,Chittagong Divisional Government representative of BHB Alhaj Dr. Saleh Ahmed Suleman and the Principal of Dr.Zakir Hossain City Corporation Homeopathic Medical College & Hospital Dr. Md. Nurul Amin were given reception.
The speakers in the meet emphasized the importance of homeo medicine to ensure the health service for all.
They said Dr. Hanneyman invented homeo-medicine which can facilitate to cure the most complicated diseases also. Present government is also playing effective role to become popular of the homeo treatment across the county, they added.
The chief guest in his brief deliberations said homeopathy is playing pioneering role to ensure the good heath of the common people and the huge population of the country is being benefitted with the service of homeopathy treatment.
He demanded 25% allocations in national budget for homeopathy sector aimed at extending homeo medicare service to every doorstep. He called upon all to work untidily for the greater interest of the country. Dr. Abdul Karim felicitated the leaders of BHMA Lohagara unit for establishing a Homeo Research Centre in Lohagara, Chittagong . a sources of BHMA , Chittagong unit said.
