Prime Bank Club beat Kalabagan by 47 runs
Prime Bank Cricket Club earned a big victory beating Kalabagan Krira Chakra by 47 runs in the Dhaka Premier Division Cricket League at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in Mirpur on Saturday.
Prime Bank Cricket Club opened the innings first after losing the toss and scored a challenging 280 for all wickets in 48.4 over featuring 106 runs in the 4th wicket stand by Sabbir Rahman and Shuvagata Hom.
Icon player Sabbir contributed 53 runs off 49 balls with 8 fours. Prime Bank CC skipper Shuvagata Hom contributed the team highest 60 runs off 54 balls with 6 fours and 2 big six. Taibur Rahman made 58-ball 52 runs with 5 fours While opener Mehedi Maruf scored 43-ball 37 runs, including 5 fours and a six.
National ODI and T20 Captain Mashrafe Mortaza grabbed four wickets for 56 runs while Abdur Razzak, Dewan Sabbir and Sharifullah took two wickets conceding 50, 44 and 56 runs respectively.
In reply, Kalabagan KC Folded their innings at 233 runs by lost all wickets in 45.4 overs featuring Hamilton Masakadza’s 61 runs off 72 balls with nine fours.
Besides, Sadman Islam(45), Jashimuddin(25) and Mehrab Hossain Jnr(27) were the others main scorers for Kalabagan KC.
Raihan Uddin grabbed four wickets for 38 runs while Monir Hossain, Shuvagata Hom and Rubel Hossain took two wickets conceding 36, 44 and 51 runs respectively.
Shuvagata Hom was adjudged man of the match for all-round performance.
