Central Women’s, Kabi Nazrul reach Round Robin League

Central Women’s Colege and Kabi Nazrul Government College reached the Round Robin League of the Swiss Bakery Women’s Rugby Competition on Sunday.
In the day’s first match, Central Women’s College blanked Narayanganj College by 15-0 points at the Government Physical Education College Ground in Mohammadpur.
In the day’s other matches, Eden Women’s College thrashed Home Economics College by 31-0 points, Cambrian School & College crushed Dhaka Commerce College by 10-0 points, Central Women’s College outplayed Holy Cross College by 10-0 points, Kabi Nazrul Government College defeated Cambrian School & College by 10-5 points, Holy Cross College beat Narayanganj College by 5-0 points, Kabi Nazrul Government College overcame Dhaka Commerce College by 15-0 points at the same venue.
Barrister Anisuzzaman inaugurated the rugby meet by releasing the balloons as the chief guest. General Secretary of Bangladesh Rugby Federation (BRF) Mousum Ali, Joint-Secretary of BRF Sayeed Ahmed and Secretary of the Tournament Committee Parvin Putul were present at the time, among others.
