Commotion in FIFA :
The year 2015 is no more, but it left commotion in FIFA, the world’s most powerful sports body. The suspension of the FIFA President Sapp Blattar and the UEFA President Michel Platini by the FIFA Ethics Committee on charge of corruption has been rated as the most sensational event of the precedent year.
Blattar’s unyielding attitude to continue in the office of the FIFA President for one more term brought his misfortunes, but Platini’s downfall is still mysterious. That is why neutral observers consider it as a conspiracy against soccer, the world’s most popular sport.
On the home side most sensational event is Bangladesh cricket team’s amazing wins against India, Pakistan, South Africa and Zimbabwe in the one-day internationals on home ground. However, Australia’s refusal to play in Bangladesh on security ground for a pre-scheduled series sounds unsports like. It has earned bad name for them.
Spain’s Barcelona beat Argentina’s River Plate 3-0 to win the World Club Cup Football Tournament, and did Chittagong Abahani beating India’s Calcutta East Bengal 3-1 in the final of an international club cup soccer tournament. Cannot we track Chittagong Abahani?

Pangs of the commuters
In Chittagong commuters who use the Asian Highway have to face huge traffic gridlock all the time. A flyover stretching from Muradpur to Lalkhanbazar is under construction. The middle of the road remains totally occupied with construction materials. Vehicles ply only the narrow strips of the road on both sides. So from morning till night the road remains congested with all types of vehicles. Something must be done to alleviate the sufferings of the pedestrians and commuters.
