DC Football tournament begins tomorrow

The first round matches of the DC Cup Football tournament begins tomorrow (Saturday) in Satkhira.
A total of eight teams will take part in the competition, organised by Satkhira District Football Association and in co-parathion with the Bangladesh Football Federation (BFF).
The participating teams are: Satkhira Sadar, Ashashuni, Kaliganj, Kolarowa, Tala, Devhata, Shamnagar, and Satkhira Pourasabha.
Players from foreign counties, Bangladesh national teams, Abahani Limited, Sheikh Jamal Dhanmondi Club, Mohammedan Sporting Club, Brothers Union Club and Muktijoddha Sangsad Krira Chakra will represent for the different participating clubs of the competition.
The semi-finals will be held on November 21 and 22 while the final is slated on November 24.
In this regards, a press conference was held today at the BFF conference room to give all the details of the meet.
BFF senior vice president Badal Roy, and Satkhira District Sports Association member Sirajul Islam, were among others present on the occasion.
