40 BCL men held

Police in an overnight drive arrested at least 40 activists of Bangladesh Chattra League (BCL) from CRB area early Wednesday.
Detective Branch (DB) of Chittagong Metropolitan Police and Kotwali police jointly conducted the drive to arrest leaders and activists of Chattra League.
DB Police arrested BCL leader Gias Uddin Rana along with 12 activists while Kotwali police arrested 28 more BCL activists during the drive. In November, 2015, one BCL leader Saiful Alam Limon and Jubo League leaders Helal Akbar Chowdhury Babar locked in a clash over establishing supremacy at CRB area.
