Three photo journalists of the daily newspapers were injured by rubber bullets fired by the police while covering official assignment related to the non-cooperation movement in front of the National Press Club in the capital on Sunday. The incident occurred around 4.00 pm on Sunday.
Among the injured journalists were The New Nation Senior Photo Journalist Moin Ahmed, Amader Shomoy’s Photo Journalist Meheraz, and Ajker Daink’s Photo Journalist Nur Hossain Pipul.
The New Nation Senior Photo Journalist Moin Ahmed told that several journalists, including myself were hit by bullets. I has multiple rubber bullet injuries. We have received treatment from Dhaka Medical College.
