Among the artistes of this generation of TV dramas in Bangladesh, Supto-Prokrity duo has come into discussion as a pair by acting in various stories based dramas.
In recent times, the three popular dramas of this pair are – ‘Bou Jokhon Montri’, ‘Koti Takar Bou’ and ‘Mirza Barir Jamai’. Sujon Islam Jibon has directed all these three dramas.
Meanwhile, as a pair, actor Ashraf Supto and actress Manoshi Prokrity have almost finished works of three more dramas. They have already completed a drama in Dhaka. The title of the drama is ‘Baba Jokhon Bekar’. It was directed by Sujon Islam Jibon.
Therefore, they have also completed works of two more dramas recently. The shooting of these two dramas has been completed in Kuakata. Mahmud Niaz Chandradwip has made these two dramas. Pappuraj wrote stories of these three dramas. The drama that Manoshi Prokrity worked with recently is titled ‘Reshmi Churi’. But the title of another drama has not been finalised yet, according to its director.
Actor Ashraf Supto has worked at Bashundhara Group for nine years. He became a model in a music video with film actress Airin for the first time in a song by Kazi Shuvo. This video was directed by Saikat Nasir. Title of the song was ‘Bou Ene De’. The song has enjoyed more than three crore viewers so far. Supto’s first drama was ‘Behaya’, directed by Eagle Team.
While talking about his acting plans and working on three new dramas, Supto told this correspondent, “Manoshi Prokrity does acting very well. My understanding of acting with her is excellent in one word. That’s why we are working on one drama after another. Three dramas of recent times have been well received by the audience. And now we have worked on three new dramas, I hope the audience will like them. I am still new to acting. I am constantly learning. I want to establish myself as a perfect actor.”
On the other hand, actress Manoshi Prokrity shared her feelings by this way, “Supto and I have been accepted as a pair of viewers, it’s really nice. Both of us are getting good response from the audience by acting in one drama after another. I am very optimistic about the new works. I give thanks to all drama producers and directors for making dramas with us carefully.”
Actor Supto completed BBA from a private university and have the will to do MBA.
On the other hand, Manoshi Prokrity first worked in Faridul Hasan’s drama titled ‘Comedy 420’. Her released movies are – ‘Shesh Kotha’, ‘Jol Shewla’ and ‘Jontrona’.
