A new drama serial titled ‘Moholla’ is being aired on Boishakhi TV from first day of this month.
The drama series is written by Bidyut Roy and directed by Faridul Hasan, based on the story of old Dhaka.
The drama serial is being aired every Saturday, Sunday and Monday at 8:40pm.
In the story of the ‘Moholla’, it can be seen that eternal rivals Masum and Babu get into a conflict over a minor incident in a neighborhood of old Dhaka.
Their enmity is hereditary. Masum’s father, Hakim Munshi, and Babu’s father, Belayet Sardar, once had a deep friendship. But for some reason, they became enemies.
Because of their sons Masum and Babu, that enmity does not decrease, but rather becomes more pronounced.
On the other hand, Masum and Babu love former councilor Bijli’s two daughters, Aduri and Moyna. The story progresses through various complications.
The series stars Zaher Alvi, Tonmoy Sohel, Irene Sultana, Iffat Ara Tithi, Abdullah Rana, Reshmi Ahmed, Siam Mridha, Rocky Khan, Mukit Zakaria, among others.
