NetCom Learning Bangladesh proudly hosted a significant meeting with Dr. AbdelouahabSaidani, Ambassador of Algeria, at his office in Dhaka. The meeting, which took place at 12:30 PM on Tuesday, marked an important moment in the company’s ongoing commitment to advancing educational initiatives globally, particularly in empowering the workforce through cutting-edge technology skills.

Upon his arrival at NetCom Learning Bangladesh, Dr. Saidani was warmly welcomed by the company’s leadership and employees, including Ishaan Bin Zillur Rahman, Senior Manager – Sales, and Shahrukh Bin Hannan, HR & Admin Executive. The Ambassador’s visit was an opportunity to foster collaboration between Algeria and NetCom Learning Bangladesh in the realm of technology and education, with a shared focus on enhancing skill development and economic growth.

The meeting was attended by department heads from NetCom Learning Bangladesh, including MunshiAshik Mahmud, Head of Marketing; Abdur Rahman Mamun, Head of Partnerships; Md. Imdadul Islam, Head of Products, and Ishaan Bin Zillur Rahman. Alongside them, other distinguished guests, including Nazinur Rahim, Executive Editor, Diplomatic Media and SyedaZainahBinte Habib, Diplomatic Media Personnel and Editorial Designer Strategist, joined the discussion.

The conversation centred around the ambitious goal of training one million Algerians in essential technological skills, a crucial part of Algeria’s vision for Digital Algeria 2030. This initiative is aligned with the country’s strategy for economic diversification and technological advancement, particularly in the non-oil sectors.

During the meeting, MD Imdadul Islam, Head of Products at NetCom presented a proposed initiative to upskill 1 million learners in Algeria by 2030, aligning with the vision of the National AI Strategy and Digital Algeria 2030. He also shared NetCom Learning’s vision & commitment to upskill students & professionals across the globe & develop a skilled workforce focusing on trending such as AI, cybersecurity, cloud computing, and more.

Head of Partnership, Mr. Abdur Rahman Mamun highlighted the impactful role that NetCom Learning Bangladesh is already playing on a global scale, with a specific emphasis on the company’s outreach programs like NetCom+, the innovative platform that provides affordable, scalable digital skills training. Mamun also expressed his goal of empowering over 5 million Algerian teachers through specialized training programs.

H.E. Dr. Saidani showed great interest in NetCom’s efforts and the potential impact of this collaboration on Algeria’s education system. He expressed a strong intention to engage with Algeria’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs to explore further opportunities for cooperation, particularly in the realm of education and skills development for the country’s youth.

Following the meeting, H.E. Dr. Saidani was given a tour of the NetCom Learning Bangladesh facilities, where he met with employees from different departments. His visit concluded with a lunch, offering an opportunity for further dialogue and the strengthening of ties between NetCom Learning Bangladesh and Algeria.

In closing, the NetCom Learning Bangladesh team bid farewell to H.E. Dr. Saidani, grateful for his visit and optimistic about future collaborations aimed at building a highly skilled, technology-driven workforce in Algeria.
