Nepal Football team arrived in the city on Thursday to play two FIFA international friendly matches against Bangladesh Football team. The Nepal contingent reached the Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport by a special chartered aeroplane on 12.30pm.
The two FIFA international friendly matches will be held at the Bangabandhu National Stadium on November 13 and November.
Before leaving Nepal for Bangladesh two booters of Nepal Football team have tested positive for coronavirus. Thus Nepal Football team came Dhaka without the two footballers.
Before participating in the practise sessions, members of Napal Football team have to take four-day quarantine. Then Nepal Football team will start their practise from November 10.
To telecast the FIFA international friendly matches the television channels can use drone.
Bangladesh Television will telecast the match live from the big bowl. Four private television channels are also interested to telecast the match live.
Besides, Bangladesh Betar will give running commentary of the two FIFA international friendly matches between Bangladesh and Nepal.
