National Vitamin A Plus campaign was inaugurated in Gouripur Upazila of Mymensingh district on Saturday aiming to distribute Vitamin A capsules to 52,862 children aged 6-59 months to improve their health and reduce child mortality.
M. Sazzadul Hasan, UNO of Gouripur upazila inaugurated the campaign Saturday morning by feeding the capsule to a child at Gouripur Upazila Health Complex. At that time, Upazila Health and Family Planning Officer Dr. Iqbal Ahmed Nasser was present as special guest.
