Nat’l Kabaddi’s finals today

Satkhira, Khulna, Jhenaidah and Narail districts confirmed Rupsha zone finals of the National Kabaddi Championship (men’s and women’s) was held in Jashore gymnasium in Jashore on Wednesday.

Satkhira takes on Khulna in the men’s division final while Jhenaidah meets Narail in the women’s
division final. The two finals will be held today at the same venue.

Meanwhile, in the day’s men’s division first semifinal, Satkhira beat Narail by 43-25 points while Khulna defeated host Jashore by 33-29 points in the second semis.

In the women’s division first semifinals, Jhenaidah defeated Jashore by 62-16 points in the first semifinal while Narail beat Kushtia by 64-7 points in the second semis.

Seven teams in the women’s division and five teams in the men’s division are participating in the competition, divided into two groups.

It is mentionable that this year’s National Kabaddi Championship is being held by dividing eight zones across the country. Before the Rupsha zone, the competition of Padma, Teesta and Brahmaputra zones were successfully completed.
