National Road Safety Day observed

Natore marked National Road Safety Day with a rally and a discussion session organized by the Natore Circle of the Road Transport Authority.

On Wednesday ,under the theme “Quality Helmets and Safe Speed: Reducing Loss of Life and Property”, the Natore Circle organized a rally starting from in front of the Collectorate building.

The rally circled the Collectorate premises and concluded at the District Commissioner’s conference room, where a discussion session was held. The discussion session was chaired by District Commissioner Asma Shahin. Speakers included Additional District Magistrate Arif Hossain, Motor Vehicle Inspector of Natore Circle Uttam Dev Sharma, Traffic Inspector Rezaul Karim, Abdul Rashid from the Bus Owners’ Association, Md. Abdul Mannaf, President of the Chamber of Commerce, along with drivers from various transport sectors.
