A national conference on artificial Intelligence, artificial Intelligence-based conversational robots, computational intelligence and applications was held at Jashore University of Science and Technology (JUST). JUST Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. Md. Abdul Majid was present as the chief guest.
This Saturday morning, a national conference titled ‘Computational Intelligence and Applications’ was jointly organised by JUST’s Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) Department and the Improving Computer and Software Engineering Tertiary Education Project (ICSETEP).
In the speech of the chief guest, JUU Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. Md. Abdul Majid said, the world of tomorrow will be of artificial intelligence. The country that advances in robotics and artificial intelligence research will lead the world.
Our students will gain knowledge from the conference and, accordingly, will acquire skills in this field by conducting research. He expressed hope that they will develop themselves as skilled manpower and lead the world in computational intelligence.
The Vice Chancellor of JUST further said to the students, you have to take care of your dreams, aspirations and willpower. Along with gaining knowledge, you have to increase your communication skills, then you will be able to work for the development of this country and nation.
The main speaker at the conference was Comilla University Vice Chancellor Professor Dr. Md. Haider Ali. The guest speaker was Dr. Md., Associate Professor of the Department of CSE, Dhaka University. Mosaddek Khan, Reader in Cyber Security at the University of Wolverhampton, England, Dr. Md. Arafatur Rahman, Associate Professor of the Department of CSE at the University of Artois, France, and Dr. Vishnu Sarkar, Assistant Professor of the Department of Data Science at Meharry Medical College, USA, were virtually involved.
