The Cristal Insurance PLC National Club Cup Sevens Rugby Championship will begin tomorrow (May 16) at the Paltan Ground adjacent to the National Stadium in the capital.
A total of 24 clubs from across the country, split into eight groups, will compete in the two-day meet, organized by the Bangladesh Rugby Federation Union (BRFU).
In this regard, a press conference was held at the Shaheed Captain M Mansur Ali National Handball Stadium to provide all the details of the tournament.
BRFU General Secretary Akhter Uz Zaman, Vice-President Abu Mohammad Sazzad, Tournament Committee Secretary and BRFU Member Ashraf Uddin Ahmed, Additional Managing Director and Company Secretary of Cristal Insurance PLC M Mahfuzur Rahman and other BRFU members were also present at the press conference.

Group A – Chatok Rugby Club, Narail Fighter Rugby Club, AR Rugby Club
Group B – Shariatpur Rugby Club, Rangpurian Rugby Club, Satkhira Rugby Club
Group C – Glorious Sporting Club, Kurigram Rugby Club, Dinajpur Modern Rugby Club
Group D – S H A Academy, Madertek Rugby Club, Faridpur Poddar Par Rugby Club
Group E – Rahman F Academy, Joypurhat Tarun-Toruni Rugby Academy, Rugby Club of Narayanganj
Group F – Magura District Rugby Club, Gopalganj Rugby Club, Gafur Beluch Smrity Sangsad
Group G – Chandgaon Sporting Club, Jamalpur Rugby Club, Vimla Rugby Club
Group H – Mansoor Sporting Club, Gaibandha Legends Rugby Club, Thakurgaon Rugby Club.
