The Public Works Department (PWD) has implemented construction work of a total of nine projects of the government in Narsingdi.
During the tenure of the current interim government, Bangladesh is on the highway of development.
Assistant Acounant of PWD Narsingdi Shamima Begum said, “A total of 9 projects have been undertaken during the tenure of this government. Out of them, a total of 6 projects have been implemented at a coset of Tk 174,88,22,000. The work of the remaining 3 projects will be completed. Construction of Narsingdi Sadar Upazila Model Mosque and Islamie Cultaral Center will be inplemented at a cost of Tk 24.75 crore.
Construction of Monohardi Upatila Model Masque and Islamic Cultural Center will be in plemented at a cost of Tk 18.40 crore Conenction of Shipur Upazila Model Mosque and Ielamie Caltural Center at a cost of Tk 1288 crore, construction of Belabo Upazila Model Masque and Islamic Cultural Center at a cost of Tk 8 crore, construction of Raipura Upazila Model Mosque and Islamic Cultural Certer at a cost of Tk 5.5 core, modemization and expansion work of Bangladesh Weaving Education and Taining Insitude Nasingdi at a cost of Tk 34. I crore, construction of new Narsingdi District Jail at a cost of Tk 53.54 crore, upgriding of Narsinedi District Hospital from 100 beds to 250 beds at a cost of Tk 8 crore, and construction of Narsingdi Nursing Collegebuilding at a Cost ofTk 9 crore.
