Nagad wins Eastern Bank digital excellence award

Nagad, the leading mobile financial service provider in Bangladesh, has been recognized with the Excellence in Business Payout Award by Eastern Bank PLC for its outstanding contribution to advancing digital transactions in the country.

The award was part of EBL’s “Skysfree: EBL Digital Excellence Awards 2025”, an initiative that honors partner merchant organizations for their significant role in the bank’s growth and digital transformation.

This year, EBL recognized 40 partner organizations at a grand ceremony held at a convention hall in Dhaka on Sunday.

The award was presented by Ali Reza Iftekhar, Managing Director and CEO of EBL, and received on behalf of Nagad by Md. Habibur Rahman, Senior Associate Administrator; Anwar Ullah, Associate Administrator; and Mohammad Shahin Sarwar Bhuiyan, Chief Commercial Officer.

Senior officials of EBL, including Deputy Managing Director M. Khorshed Anwar and Head of Digital Financial Services Ahsan Ullah Chowdhury, were also present at the event.
