Based on secret information that a drug dealer was staying in Dhaka Bypass area for the purpose of selling drugs, RAB-14, led Deputy Commander Major Shishir Mahmud Talukder, conducted an operation.
The team arrested Md. Mazharul Islam (33) and about 242 (two hundred and forty two) pieces of Yaba tablets were seized by searching his body in front of the witnesses present.
The arrested person is the son of Md. Badal Mia, Digharkanda, Ward No. 25, Mymensingh City, Thana Kotwali of Mymensingh district. During the preliminary interrogation and investigation, the accused admitted his involvement in the sale of narcotic drug Yaba tablets. A case is being filed against the arrested accused at Kotwali police station of Mymensingh district.
