Ace batter Mushfiqur Rahim has been included in the Sylhet Division squad for National Cricket League (NCL) T20 Cricket.
The National Cricket League (NCL) T20 will start September 14. Before the NCL T20, the Sylhet Division squad and Barishal Division squad were announced on Thursday.
A good number of players, who have played for the Bangladesh National Cricket team, have been included in the Sylhet Division squad.
On the other hand, Barishal Division squad are formed almost without any cricketer of Bangladesh National Cricket team. Zakir Hasan will lead Sylhet Division squad. Besides, Ebadot Hossain, Khaled Ahmed have been chosen for Sylhet Division squad.
It is noteworthy that Nasum Ahmed, Tanzim Hasan Sakib, Jaker Ali Anik have been included in the Sylhet Division squad. They are now staying in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) to take part in the Asian Cricket Council (ACC) Asia Cup.
The management of Barishal Division recruited Tanvir Islam, Sohag Gazi. Former prolific batter of Bangladesh National Cricket team Mohammad Ashraful will act as the Head Coach of Barishal Division squad.
Sylhet Division squad : Zakir Hasan (Captain), Mizanur Rahman, Amit Hasan, Musgfiqur Rahim, Abu Jayed Rahi, Ebadot Hossain, Razaur Rahman Raja, Khaled Ahmed, Asadullah Al Galib, Mubin Ahmed , Rahatul Ferdous, Nabil Samad, Nayeem Hossain, Shahanur Rahman, Tanzim Hasan Sakib, Jaker Ali Anik and Nasum Ahmed.
Barishal Division squad : Iftikhar Hossain Ifti, Rafsan Al Mahmud, Zahiduzzaman Khan Sagor, Fazle Mahmud Rabbi, Moeen Khan, Shamsul Islam, Sohag Gazi, Sheikh Antar, Tanvir Islam, Yasin Arafat Mishu, Zihadul Haque Zihad, Ruyel Mia, Mainul Islam, Mehedi Hasan.
