UNB, Munshiganj :Finally, superintendent of police of Munshiganj M Habibur Rahman has been withdrawn in connection with the assault of Gazaria UNO by a cop.Habibur was made officer on special duty (OSD) and attached to the Police Headquarters on charges of dereliction of duty, indulging in corruption, misconduct and failure to contain violence during the upazila polls in Gazaria, said police sources.He handed over the charge to additional police super M Zakir Hossain on Thursday night, Zakir told UNB on Friday.
