An introductory meeting of the newly formed convening committee was held at the Muktijoddha Complex on Saturday ,organised by the Gafargaon upazila Muktijoddha Sangsad of Mymensingh.
The introductory meeting was held under the chairmanship of the approved convener of the District Muktijoddha Sangsad Committee, war-wounded brave freedom fighter Saiful Alam, while brave freedom fighters from different parts of the upazila took part in the meeting.
The meeting was conducted by Upazila Muktijoddha Sangsad member secretary Bir Muktijoddha Abdur Rouf and was addressed by Mymensingh District Liberation War Generation Party senior joint convener Aminul Islam Chanchal, convening committee members Bir Muktijoddha Abul Hashem Khandaker, Bir Muktijoddha Md Abdul Motaleb, Bir Muktijoddha Md Jalal Uddin and Bir Muktijoddha Golam Mostafa, municipal commander Bir Muktijoddha Mofazzal Hossain, union commander Bir Muktijoddha Janab Ali Mridha, Bir Muktijoddha Nurul Huda, Bir Muktijoddha Gias Uddin, Bir Muktijoddha Abdul Mannan, Bir Muktijoddha Mujibur Rahman, Bir Muktijoddha Md Shahid, Bir Muktijoddha A.H. Hamid, Bir Muktijoddha Billal, Bir Muktijoddha A.K.M. Sirajul Islam, freedom fighter Mujibur Rahman, freedom fighter Ala Uddin and others.The speakers said that the freedom fighters had always remained united for the sake of the country and pledged to stay united in the future as well.
