David Moyes has returned to the helm at Everton, effective immediately, the Merseyside club announced on Saturday.
The Scotsman will succeed Sean Dyche, who was sacked on the eve of the side’s FA Cup third-round match against Peterborough.
“It’s great to be back! I enjoyed 11 wonderful and successful years at Everton and didn’t hesitate when I was offered the opportunity to rejoin this great club,” Moyes said after the club announced his appointment.
