Touhiduzzaman Pavel has taken charge as the new District Administrator (DC) of Moulvibazar district.
He took charge as the Deputy Commissioner of Moulvibazar district on Tuesday morning.
His appointment was confirmed through a notification issued by the Ministry of Public Administration on November 13.
It is part of the recent reshuffle of the posts of Deputy Commissioner and District Magistrate in various districts of the country.
He has been given responsibility in Moulvibazar as such.
Touhiduzzaman Pavel passed the 28th BCS and first started his career in Narail. As a UNO, he was given responsibility in Dirai and Rajnagar Upazilas.
He served as ADC in Barisal and later in the Ministry of Education, before becoming Director of the Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC).
From there, he was transferred to Moulvibazar.
He was appointed as the Deputy Commissioner. Touhiduzzaman Pavel, the worthy son of the late Md. Shamsuzzaman of Uttar Islampur village, Sadar upazila, Munshiganj district, is the father of a son and a daughter. His wife is Mashkura Jannat works at Sonali Bank.
It is worth noting that outgoing Deputy Commissioner Md. Israil Hossain, who served in Moulvibazar for about 14 months, has been posted to the Ministry of Health.
