The month-long ‘Rangpur Industrial and Trade Fair’ was kicked off on Rangpur Police Lines School and College ground on Saturday. State Minister for Shipping Khalid Mahmud Chowdhury MP inaugurated the fair organized by Rangpur Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
Industry President Md. Akbar Ali of Rangpur Chamber of Commerce presided over inauguration ceremony. Rangpur Divisional Commissioner Md. Habibur Rahman, DIG Abdul Baten, Rangpur Metropolitan Police Commissioner Md. Moniruzzaman, Deputy Commissioner Mohammad Mobashwer Hasan, Superintendent of Police Md. Ferdous Ali were special guests in the ceremony.
Chamber President Md. Akbar Ali said that the fair of aesthetic beauty has been organized with success like every year. Ariful Islam Angur said that there will be a total of 130 to 150 stalls in the fair. There are about 15 rides for the entertainment of children.
