Monno Ceramic Industries Ltd, one of the leading tableware ceramic manufacturers of the country, saw its profit drop significantly in the first quarter of the current financial year.
Profit for Q1 was Tk 30.17 lakh, down by a significant 89 percent year-on-year.
Earnings per share for July-September 2024 fell to Tk 0.08, compared to Tk 0.74 in the same period last year, according to a recent disclosure on the Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) .
The declined quarterly earnings follow a sharp 86 percent decline in annual profit to Tk 1.47 crore for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2024.
