Monir Haider appointed special assistant to CA

The government has appointed Monir Haider as the special assistant (Consensus Building) to the chief adviser with the rank of senior secretary.

Monir’s appointment, made on a contractual basis, will be effective for a period of six months from the date of his joining, according to a Ministry of Public Administration notification of Thursday.

Monir Haider must relinquish any professional engagements, businesses, or employment with government, semi-government, or private organisations before assuming his new role, said the notification.
